Career Specialties

Mirvat Abdel Hadi specializes in organic and inorganic chemistry. Her work in graduate school focused on preparing and characterizing aryl mercuric compounds, synthesizing solid support catalysts and cross-coupling reactions. She is currently concentrating on science education.

Professional and Community Activities

Mirvat is a member of the American Chemical Society, the National Association for Research in Science Teaching and a leader in Girl Scouts.
