Career Specialties

Addie Carothers oversees Wellness Services by developing strategic plans, goals and objectives while collaborating with on and off-campus stakeholders to implement a multidisciplinary approach to wellness. She works to educate the UT community in eight areas of wellness. She also writes and manages grant deliverables.

Carothers oversees the Faith Values and Spirituality program, Alcohol and Other Drug programs, Wellness Assessment and Coaching, Spartan Connect first-year non-residential cohort-based program and Vector Solutions population-level prevention program. She chairs the UT CEDARS alcohol and other drugs coalition and also chairs the UT Resource Team for Faith Values and Spirituality. She is a member of the Spartan Support Steering Committee.

Professional and Community Activities

Carothers is a member of the Hillsborough County Anti Drug Alliance, American College Health Association, National Association of Student Personnel Administrators and National Wellness Institute. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Life Coach.
