Career Specialties

As the Assistant Director of Wellness, Tiffany Nelson serves as a campus community expert in health promotion, emotional-wellbeing and mental health education. She coordinates emotional wellbeing programs out of the Wellness Center, including the peer wellness coaching program and emotional wellbeing skill-based workshops. She also advises the student mental health focused organizations affiliated with Live Well UT. Additionally, Nelson is a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor and leads trainings for UT faculty, staff and students throughout the year.

Professional and Community Activities

Nelson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, Certified Life Coach, MBTI Certified Practitioner and Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

She is also a member of the UT Strategic Planning and Assessment Committee and co-leads the Spartan Support Life Skills subcommittee
