Career Specialties

Roman Sereda DMSc, PA-C is fellowship trained in emergency medicine and provides such services in a variety of Tampa Bay area emergency departments. Sereda participates in clinical preceptorship of future physician assistants and emphasizes inclusion of evidence-based medicine into daily medical decision-making. He strives for equal non-biased healthcare delivery. Administratively, he ensures optimal operations and incorporate data driven decision making where he implemented various process improvement projects within the department and the University. As an entrepreneur in the service industry, he encourages healthy and ethical business model development to ensure long-term profitable growth. 

Professional and Community Activities

Roman Sereda is an accomplished academic medical professional with a multifaceted background encompassing clinical practice, education, administration, entrepreneurship, and scholarly activities. He recently published a poster reflecting salary trends for PA’s with doctorate degree; and medical versus surgical management of uncomplicated appendicitis; as well as in a medical journals with insights on cost effective management of epistaxis; and new sepsis management protocols. Sereda further participates in various community service activities and work with PA students developing scholarly Capstone projects. He teaches at bedside with clinical year PA students and lectures in undergraduate courses for Pre-PA students. He also volunteers for various public disaster events including COVID-19 relief in McAllen Texas, as well as Hurricanes Ian in 2022 and Laura relief efforts in Texas in 2020.
