The minor in animation offers students the opportunity to learn core principles and techniques in traditional and digital animation with investigation into 2- and/or 3-D modeling, texturing and animation. The skills and knowledge acquired through study and application in the minor can be applied to character and environment development for personal short projects, game development, visual effects for film, animation production for film and television, interactive media, plus all applications of virtual simulation.
