The Reverse Career Fair
What is a reverse career fair? The tables are turned as students are stationed at their own exhibition with the objective of attracting recruiters to stop at the display, engaging with recruiters and obtaining the next step for a potential employment opportunity. This is not your typical career fair!
Speed Selling Competition
The Speed Selling Competition is an internal sales competition where students enrolled in the professional selling courses participate in a two-track event. These juniors and seniors will apply communication and selling skills in an elevator pitch competition and receive developmental coaching on their B2B professional sales role-play.
Speaker Series
The speaker series event will feature a guest speaker that will facilitate an interactive discussion about the sales industry, networking, opportunities and other sales-related topics. Students, faculty and staff across the University will have the chance to attend and participate in the discussion.
UTee Networking Event at Topgolf
The Institute for Sales Excellence is hosting a networking event at Tampa's Topgolf. The event is open to all UT students who have registered. Tampa Bay business professionals and our own corporate partners will be attending to network and mingle with students to discuss future careers, internships and professional advice.
Lunch and Learns
Companies interact with a small group of students interested in learning more about opportunities at their firm over lunch.
Coffee and Careers
Companies are given a professional development workshop topic to give students insight on their LinkedIn profiles, resumes, and more.
Spartan $ales Cup
Each semester, the Institute for Sales Excellence holds a semester-long activity-based competition. This competition is called the Spartan $ales Cup and is designed to incentivize students to participate in professional events. This competition incentivizes your growth both professionally and personally.
