Cass Gym Policies

  1. All University of Tampa students, faculty and staff MUST present a valid UT ID card for entry into the Cass Gymnasium.
  2. Proper athletic clothing and shoes are required. No sandals, flip-flops, open-toed shoes, boots or other footwear that may damage the floor surface are allowed. Shirts must be worn at all times.
  3. All personal property may be stored in the lockers located in the locker rooms of the gymnasium. Neither the Cass Gymnasium nor its employees will be responsible for lost or stolen property.
  4. No food, gum, or tobacco products are allowed in the gymnasium. Water or sports drinks will be permitted in closed plastic containers only.
  5. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs may be consumed prior to or while using the facility.
  6. Basketballs, volleyballs, and other equipment are available for checkout. No equipment should be removed from the Cass Gymnasium at any time, for any reason.
  7. Patrons should report any injuries or facility/equipment irregularity or malfunction to the attendant(s) on duty.
  8. Use of the Cass Gymnasium is a privilege, and patrons are expected to exhibit proper conduct and respect the rights of others. Individuals who engage in unacceptable, unsafe or irresponsible behavior may have their access to facilities revoked, modified, and/or subject to further University disciplinary action.
OUR FIRST PRIORITY IS THE SAFETY OF OUR PATRONS. THEREFORE, THESE POLICIES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED. VIOLATORS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FACILITY.
