When I think of The University of Tampa, it means more to me than solely an institution where I earned my higher education. As a double alumnus, (UT Class of ’09 and ’16), this University has become a home for me that has fostered my growth, expanded my thought processes and encouraged me to become the person that I am today. UT also allowed me to make life-long connections that I hold dear to my heart every day. Such connections include the four gentlemen that joined me on this journey of creating the Alumni Bridging Gaps Endowed Scholarship, (Dr. Michael Williams, Jamal Wilburg, Devin Derenoncourt and Dr. Marlon Hanley). This endowed scholarship is the first of its kind at UT and will benefit a first-generation freshmen student of color. Please join me in support of this scholarship at The University of Tampa. Thank you for your willingness to make a positive impact, and let’s go #allinforUT!
