I chose a career in higher education, because I had a transformative educational experience as an undergraduate student. I chose to continue my academic career at UT, because the faculty and staff share my commitment to providing meaningful, transformative educational experiences to all students. Students learn best from applying theory to practice, incorporating the life of the mind inside the classroom with the world outside the classroom.

The breadth of disciplines in the College of Social Sciences, Mathematics and Education (CSSME) prepare students for rich careers in social sciences, education, technology and computational sciences by helping them to acquire integrative skills that can be applied in a variety of fields. Students in CSSME are becoming thoughtful leaders by learning how to analyze the past, illuminate the present and build the future.

Your gift will provide CSSME with the resources needed to fund high-impact teaching and learning practices, from student research to experiential learning to community-engaged problem-solving. With your help, we will continue training outstanding leaders who will shape a better tomorrow.
