Career Specialties

Nicole Crowther's specialties lie in physical theatre performance, including movement, circus arts, partner acrobatics, slapstick, Commedia dell’Arte and mask performance. Her career has been largely focused on drama education, Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) and devising theatre for social change.

Professional and Community Activities

Following her time as the operations manager for Chicago’s only social youth circus, CircEsteem, Crowther moved to Florida to found a performing arts program for a community school in Tarpon Springs. She then spent four years working with Creative Arts Theatre, the city of Tampa’s professional theatre company for young audiences. Crowther has enjoyed working with several theatre companies in the area, including Tampa Repertory Theatre and Urbanite Theatre.
