Career Specialties

Tim Harding is trained in career planning and development, and student engagement. He leads the University-wide Spartan Ready initiative, which is an approach to student success resulting in students' academic achievement, career readiness, life preparedness and social mobility.

Professional and Community Activities

Harding is an active member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers serving as a president-elect in 2023-2024 and president in 2024-2025; the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers serving as a past president; and the Florida Association of Colleges and Employers.

He is the co-founder of the annual Competency Symposium, which facilitates nationwide conversations, strategic thinking and practical application for university-wide competency development and career readiness approaches in higher education.
