Professional and Community Activities

Yoon's research has been presented at various conferences such as the Financial Management Association (FMA), Econometric Research in Finance (ERFIN), Analytics for Management and Economics Conference (AMEC), Western Economics Association (WEA), Southern Economics Association (SEA) and Southwestern Finance Association (SWFA). Yoon has numerous years of industry experience. He worked as an international project manager for seven years at the headquarters of LG Electronics (Seoul, Korea). While in LG, his expertise included project management, financial management, product management, and business development management. His regions of management were within the Middle East & Africa, South America, and Europe. He co-worked with multinational project managers and controlled HVAC and energy-saving project pipelines, monthly production, sales, and inventory. Also, he analyzed financial statements and forecasted annual revenues, expenses, and profits of the fiscal year of global sales subsidiaries.
