Info Ops Expert To Speak at UT Oct. 22

Simon Bergman, world services director for the advertising agency M&C Saatchi, will speak at The University of Tampa on Thursday, Oct. 22, about his experience working on the commercial side of advertising and public relations at M&C Saatchi.

The presentation, which will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in room 238 of the Innovation and Collaboration Building on campus, is free and open to the public.

Bergman, a former British officer for 22 years, gained his knowledge in the area of information and psychological operations while serving in the British Army. He later became its information options director. As current director of world services for M&C Saatchi UK Group, he most recently has worked with the U.S. Department of State, the United Nations, the U.K. Department of Defense, the Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium and the McChrystal Group, among others.
