Lyric Soprano Misook Yun and Pianist Cicilia Yudha to Perform at UT Feb. 4
On Monday, Feb. 4, The University of Tampa will welcome lyric soprano Misook Yun and pianist Cicilia Yudha for a guest artist performance. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Sykes Chapel and Center for Faith and Values and is free and open to the public.The program includes songs and arias by Franz Schubert, Henry Purcell, Richard Strauss, Joaquin Rodrigo, Fernando Obradors and Giacomo Puccini.

Lyric soprano Misook Yun was an audience choice winner at the Classical Signer Convention in May 2010 in New York City, and was selected by Classical Singer as a “Certified Classical Singer.”
Praised as a singer of “exquisite clarity” and “virtuosity,” Yun has performed in Italy, Austria, South Korea and the U.S., and won the Pittsburgh Concert Society audition in 2012 as a chamber musician. She was also an audience choice winner at the Classical Signer Convention in May 2010 in New York City, and was selected by Classical Singer as a “Certified Classical Singer.”
Pianist Cicilia Yudha is an accomplished soloist and chamber musician, who has given performances in the U.S., Cambodia, Canada, Austria, France, Germany and Indonesia.
An Indonesian concert pianist and educator, Yudha is an accomplished soloist and chamber musician, who has given performances in the U.S., Cambodia, Canada, Austria, France, Germany and Indonesia. As an associate professor of piano at the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, Yudha’s recent debut CD, Selected Works by Robert Casadesus and Henri Dutilleux, was reviewed by Cleveland Classical as “a masterful album” and “a thoroughly engaging listening experience.”
