UT Presents Mirage Piano Trio on Friday, Feb. 8

Kick off your weekend with an evening of chamber music at The University of Tampa. On Friday, Feb. 8, the University will welcome Mirage Piano Trio for a free concert. The program, which includes works by Debussy, Mendelssohn and Bach, begins at 7:30 p.m. in Plant Hall, Fletcher Lounge.

Mirage Piano Trio is comprised of Nina Kim, violin; Edevaldo Mulla, cello; and Andi Zdrava, piano.

A native of Kamchatka, Russia, Kim is pursuing her doctorate at Florida State University. Her recent performances include solo and chamber music collaborations at Brancaleoni International Music Festival (Italy), Kamchatka College of the Arts (Russia), Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival (Burlington, VT), among numerous recitals in Florida.

Mulla, an Albanian native, has widely been heard in concerts in Europe and America as a soloist and chamber musician. As an orchestra artist, he held the principal cello position at Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra and performed with many orchestras. He recently completed his master’s degree from the University of South Florida.

An Albanian native, Zdrava has participated in a wide variety of concerts, festivals and competitions in the Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Albania and Greece. He is a member of the Mirage Piano Trio, Z^2 Piano Duo and currently holds the position of music director at Incarnation Catholic Church in Sarasota. In 2017, he completed his master’s degree at the University of South Florida.
