The University of Tampa’s Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl (IEB) team recently took second place out of 20 universities at the Southeast Regional Ethics Bowl.

The team finished with a record of 4-1, defeating Auburn University, the University of Central Florida, Wake Forest University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The team’s only loss, in the championship round, was to the U.S. Naval Academy.

On Sunday, Nov. 19, enjoy a delightful afternoon of music by Johann Sebastian Bach as The University of Tampa’s Sykes Chapel Concert Artist Series continues with Four Concertos by J.S. Bach performed by prominent area soloists and chamber orchestra musicians. The concert begins at 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The University of Tampa will stage the Tony Award–winning musical comedy Guys and Dolls — featuring the hit songs “I’ll Know,” “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat” and the title song, “Guys and Dolls” — at 8 p.m. on Thursday–Saturday, Nov. 16–18, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19. All performances will be in Falk Theatre, located at 428 W. Kennedy Blvd.

UT professors Rebecca White and Speros Margetis will report on updated findings and new research on strengthening entrepreneurship in Tampa Bay at this year’s State of the Tampa Bay Entrepreneurial Ecosystem event.

The event will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 5:30 p.m. in the Sykes College of Business Lowth Entrepreneurship Center in the Daly Innovation and Collaboration Building on UT’s campus.
