Juan Antonio Flores, associate director of public affairs for the North American Development Bank, will stop by The University of Tampa on Thursday, March 27, to give a talk on “U.S.-Mexico Bilateral Cooperation for Development: The Case of the North American Development Bank.”

Flores’ talk, part of the University’s Honors Symposia series, begins at 4 p.m. in Reeves Theater on the 2nd floor of the Vaughn Center and is free and open to the public.

From March 29–April 3, The University of Tampa will host Interfaith Harmony Week, a series of events meant to raise awareness about the interfaith movement and educate students about religions and beliefs other than their own.

The events include The Power of Pause; Be at Peace, Not Pieces; and Speed Faithing.

From March 25–31, UT will host the internationally renowned dance company Urban Bush Women for a community engagement residency that will explore the theme “Building Community through Dance.”

Beatmerch, a startup company created by UT student Duncan Abdelnour, has been named one of the Coolest College Startups by Inc. Magazine for 2014. The group includes 16 startups, which were chosen out of a list of 100.
