The University of Tampa has been named by Victory Media as a Military Friendly School for 2014 — a designation that ranks UT in the top 20 percent of all colleges and universities nationwide.

The Fall 2013 Honors Program symposia series kicks off today with a presentation by Richard Mathews, Dana professor of English and writing and director of UT Press and Tampa Review, called “Art of the Book: The Clash of Ideas and the Shape of Learning.” Mathews’ talk begins at 5 p.m. in the Vaughn Center 9th Floor Trustees’ Room on the UT campus.
