The UT Environmental Protection Coalition successfully bid in the U.S. EPA Clean Air Markets Auction in March and purchased the pollution rights for 774 tons of sulfur dioxide, keeping them out of the hands of polluters.

The world’s only legal sea turtle egg harvest will be the topic of conversation at a film screening and panel discussion at The University of Tampa on Wednesday, April 4. The film, a short documentary titled Between the Harvest, will be shown in the Vaughn Center, 9th Floor, Crescent Club at 6:30 p.m.

Scott Keeter, director of survey research at the Pew Research Center, will stop by The University of Tampa on Thursday, April 5, to discuss a topic on everyone’s mind these days — the 2012 election. Part of the University’s Honors Symposia series, the lecture is scheduled for 4 p.m. in the Vaughn Center, 2nd Floor, Reeves Theater and is free and open to the public.

The University of Tampa has been named one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The college is one of six schools that The Princeton Review will add to the roster of colleges it profiles in the next edition of its popular annual “best colleges” guidebook.
