UTampa is dedicated to making your transition one of a kind and offers orientation programs designed to help first-year, transfer, commuter, and international students successfully transition to our community. Throughout your orientation, you will be exposed to many valuable resources, interact with various campus student leaders and participate in social experiences to begin making new connections with fellow Spartans.
Your future starts here! Complete Your Online Orientation Program!
As a new student, you will have the opportunity to get to know your campus prior to your arrival by completing UTampa's online orientation program. This program has been specifically designed with YOU in mind! From navigating academics to getting involved on campus, this program will help you familiarize yourself with the many resources available to you as a Spartan. The online orientation program for all new incoming students (residents, commuters and transfers) starting in Spring 2025 will become available on Dec. 2. You can access online orientation through your MyUTampa account, and it must be completed prior to your arrival on campus.

Spring 2025 Week of Welcome
Week of Welcome (WOW!) is designed specifically to help our new students as they transition to the University and we are excited to welcome our new Spartans to campus! The Spring 2025 Week of Welcome will take place from Friday, Jan. 17, to Tuesday, Jan. 21.
The Spring 2025 Week of Welcome schedule will be available via Guidebook in early January! Download Guidebook via Google Play or the App Store. Once the app is downloaded search The University of Tampa Office of Orientation and Family Engagement to download our guide space to access the schedule.
Live Virtual New Student Q&A Session
Transitioning to college life can be tough—but our staff and student leaders are here for support! New students will have an opportunity to participate in the Live Virtual New Student Q &A session on Nov. 19 from 7-9 p.m. EST. Please check your spartan email to register for the session.
