Career Specialties

Alisha Menzies specializes in critical media studies and intercultural communication. Her research focuses on popular culture and interrogates the relationship between lived experiences and media representations of cultural identity.

Professional and Community Activities

Menzies has published articles in journals such as The Howard Journal of Communication, Feminist Pedagogy, The Journal of Autoethnography, Departures in Critical Qualitative Research and Women’s Studies in Communication.
