Professional and Community Activities

Tyson Van Alfen’s research has been showcased at numerous conferences, including those hosted by the European Finance Association, Financial Intermediation Research Society, Financial Management Association, Midwest Finance Association, Southern Finance Association and Western Finance Association. His work has also been published in the Journal of Finance.

In addition to his research contributions, Tyson has served as an ad-hoc referee for several peer-reviewed journals and frequently contributes to conference program committees and paper discussions. He is also the creator of two Stata software packages, which have garnered tens of thousands of downloads.
