On Sunday, Sept. 28, The University of Tampa will kick off the 2014-2015 PNC Bank Concert Artist Series at the Sykes Chapel and Center for Faith and Values with
Works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concert will begin at 2 p.m.
Performers include Grigorios Zamparas, piano; Ted Decorso, clarinet; and Hein Jung, soprano. Haig Mardirosian, dean of the College of Arts and Letters, will conduct an orchestra of some of the area’s best professional musicians.
The program will showcase late works by the Classical-era composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, including the Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major, K. 488; the Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622; and the concert aria Ch’io mi scordi di te?, K. 505.
The concert is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Doors will open 30 minutes before the performance. Parking is available on campus.
