Leaders of Little Greek Restaurants, Cardinal Point Management and Luvo to Speak at UT

Make plans to be at The University of Tampa on Tuesday, April 26, when the University welcomes two local business leaders for the final Business Network Symposium of the 2015-2016 academic year, followed by an interview of Christine Day, CEO of Luvo and former CEO of lululemon, as part of the Today’s Entrepreneurial Women Speaker Series.

The event begins with a continental breakfast at 7:15 a.m. The Business Network Symposium program runs from 7:45–8:30 a.m., followed by an interview of Day from 8:30–9:30 a.m. Both events will be held in the Vaughn Center Crescent Club and are free and open to the public.

The speakers for the Business Network Symposium, hosted by the UT Board of Fellows, are Nick Vojnovic, president and majority partner of Little Greek Franchise Development LLC; and Gregory Williams, principal and co-founder of Cardinal Point Management. The Board of Fellows holds this networking event three times a year to allow businesses that are well known, changing or new to the Tampa Bay area the opportunity to share their accomplishments and plans with the business community.

Since 2011, Vojnovic has been the president and majority partner of Little Greek Franchise Development LLC, a fast-growing, high-quality Greek restaurant chain. He became the owner of two Tampa-based Little Greek Restaurants in 2015, at Citrus Park Town Center and Fowler Avenue near the University of South Florida.

Williams is principal and co-founder at Cardinal Point Management, an owner, manager and broker of commercial and residential properties focused on opportunities in Florida. Representative transactions of Cardinal Point include The Slade in downtown Tampa’s Channelside district and a 440,000-square-foot portfolio within the Carillon mixed-use park in St. Petersburg.

Directly following the Business Network Symposium, Day will be interviewed by Rebecca White, director of the Lowth Entrepreneurship Center. This special extended program is part of the Today’s Entrepreneurial Women Speaker Series, a program of the Lowth Entrepreneurship Center in the Sykes College of Business that brings female entrepreneurs to campus to tell their story and interact with business leaders and students.

Day is the CEO of Luvo, a revolutionary frozen food company that offers great-tasting, nutritionally dense fare made from the highest-quality ingredients. As CEO, Day leads the strategic direction for all facets of the company, including marketing, operations and financial performance. Day previously served as CEO of lululemon athletica for six years, helping the yoga-inspired athletic apparel company grow in revenue from $290 million to $1.6 billion during her tenure.

The presenting sponsor for both events is LCG. Other sponsors include the Tampa Bay Business Journal and Sodexo Campus Services.
