The University of Tampa will screen the film “Aline” on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. in the Charlene A. Gordon Theater in the Ferman Center for the Arts.
“Aline,” a fictionalized comedic telling of a Celine Dion-esque megastar, is the first film in the University’s series Albertine Cinémathèque à UT: A French Film Series.
Albertine Cinémathèque is a program of the French-American Cultural Exchange (FACE) Foundation and Villa Albertine in partnership with the French Embassy in the United States and with support of the CNC (Centre National du Cinéma et da l’ImageAnimée). The series is sponsored by UT’s Department of Film, Animation and New Media (FMX) and the Department of Language and Linguistics.
“Aline” and other films in the series are free and open to the public, but tickets must be reserved. All screenings will be held in the Charlene A. Gordon Theater in the Ferman Center for the Arts. Other films follow:
