UT T-Shirt Exchange to Benefit Metropolitan Ministries
As part of orientation on Aug. 25, new University of Tampa students had the opportunity to exchange their old T-shirts from other universities and colleges for a new University of Tampa “Spartan Spirit” T-shirt.Overall, students turned in 278 T-shirts from institutions including Ohio State University, University of Florida, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Syracuse University and numerous others. Now, those T-shirts will be donated this week to Metropolitan Ministries.The T-shirt exchange was sponsored by UT’s Office of Public Information and Publications.
