Last week, The University of Tampa’s fraternity and sorority life (FSL) organizations raised more than $76,000 in donations for charities, breaking last year’s record of almost $62,000. More than $30,000 was raised for Relay for Life, a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, while more than $46,000 was raised for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

More than $30,000 was raised for Relay for Life, a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, while more than $46,000 was raised for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
“The FSL community continues to outdo themselves every year by breaking records of the amount of money that is raised for Relay for Life and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, which are two extremely important causes for our community,” said Hannah Rendon, coordinator of FSL.
