On Wednesday, Oct. 4, The University of Tampa will welcome Nancy Rabenold, co-founder and CEO of Xcira LLC, as part of the TECO Energy Center for Leadership Speaker Series. The presentation, titled
No Regrets, begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Trustees Board Room on the ninth floor of the Vaughn Center, and is free and open to the public.
For 21 years, Xcira (formerly known as Auction Management Solutions Inc.) has been an independent, technology-based infrastructure supplier for the asset disposition industry. As the co-founder of Xcira, Rabenold created a company that is recognized as the pioneer of bringing value-add technology to the asset disposition industry. She also is the lead inventor on several issued and pending patents.
As a frequent customer of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, she has met with members of Congress to discuss the issues facing the office and the associated impacts on small- to medium-size businesses. She is also active in the Tampa community.
Prior to co-founding Xcira, Rabenold was the senior program manager for IBM’s Federal System Division where she had program management responsibilities for such platforms as NASA’s Space Shuttle, the Harpoon and Tomahawk missile program and the Trident submarine. She also was involved with various collaborative programs with esteemed generals, admirals and colonels of the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force.
The TECO Energy Center for Leadership Speaker Series is dedicated to bringing outstanding leaders from the private, government and nonprofit sectors to campus to discuss business topics and corporate strategies with students and members of the community.
