Susan Taylor Lennon, a professor of dance at The University of Tampa, will perform a one-woman show about the joys, pitfalls and fears of getting old(er). Performances will be in the Scarfone/Hartley Gallery at 8 p.m. on June 20, 21, 27 and 28, plus a matinee at 2 p.m. on June 28. All performances are free and open to the public.

Aging in Time is primarily a story about getting old, told through storytelling and dancing,” said Lennon. “I share stories of the joys and laughter and the frustrations and tears of the losses and the riches that come with age.”

A team of four University of Tampa graduate students was awarded third place in the sixth annual International ERPsim Competition 2014, which replicates a high-stress business environment, organized by HEC Montreal.

While UT has had some reality stars in its alumni cadre, the most recent brings reality — that of war, loss and resilience — home.

Taylor Urruela ’15 is featured in WEDU’s three-episode series, “Coming Back with Wes Moore,” which follows several veterans as they return from war. Urruela’s episode, “Moving Forward,” airs tonight at 8.

The University of Tampa has broken ground on a new, seven-story residence hall on the site of a recently demolished residence hall.

The southern wing of ResCom, which faced North A Street on campus, was demolished last week. ResCom, which was built in 1986 with three, three-story, apartment-like wings, housed a total of 234 students. It is located toward the center of campus, between Brevard Hall and the Thomas Parking Garage.

The UT baseball team earned its second consecutive south region championship May 18, advancing to the NCAA Division II National Championship Finals. UT will play the Midwest regional champion on Saturday, May 24, at 1 p.m. at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, NC.
