On Thursday, April 17, Hannah Holman, a cellist with the New York City Ballet Orchestra, and Réne Lecuona, a pianist with an active solo and chamber music career, will be at The University of Tampa to give a master class and recital.

There are many reasons UT students participate in Relay for Life, and most of those reasons have a face.

“At the very first organizational meeting for the year we ask people to raise their hands if they’ve been touched by cancer,” said Erin McDonald ’14, nursing major and Relay event chair. “Without fail almost every single hand goes up. This is why we do it.”

The University of Tampa’s Opera Workshop will perform on Saturday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 13, at 4 p.m. Both performances will take place in Reeves Theater on the second floor of the Vaughn Center and are free and open to the public.

On Thursday, April 10, pianist Olga Llano Kuehl-White will give a master class and perform a concert at The University of Tampa. The performance, Viva España, will take place in Plant Hall’s Grand Salon at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
