The University of Tampa will present a chamber music concert by a faculty woodwind ensemble on Thursday, Feb. 6. The concert is free and open to the public and will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Plant Hall’s Grand Salon.

Violinist Megan Karls will visit The University of Tampa on Wednesday, Feb. 5, to give a master class and recital. The master class is set for 4 p.m. and will be followed by a recital at 7:30 p.m. Both events will take place in the Sykes Chapel and Center for Faith and Values and are free and open to the public.

Mark House, managing director for the Florida Division of The Beck Group, will speak at The University of Tampa on Wednesday, Feb. 5. House’s talk, part of the TECO Center for Leadership Speaker Series, begins at 4:30 in the Sykes College of Business building, Room 134. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.

On Friday, Jan. 31, Alison Myers, a local art therapist, and Scott Husband, associate professor of psychology, will present Art for the Brain’s Sake: Neuroscience and the Power of Art at The University of Tampa. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, begins at 4 p.m. in the Bailey Art Studios on campus.
