On Friday, Oct. 11, members of The University of Tampa’s music faculty will explore the use of the organ in jazz at a concert in the Sykes Chapel and Center for Faith and Values. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

On Thursday, Oct. 10, The University of Tampa will host an open house for its new Academic Success Center, which is a “one-stop shop” on campus that provides students the tools they need to succeed academically.

From Oct. 10–13, The University of Tampa will present Temptation, Václav Havel’s absurdist theatre variation on the classic deal-with-the-devil story. Show times are 8 p.m. on Thursday–Saturday, Oct. 10–12, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13. All performances will be in Falk Theatre, located at 428 W. Kennedy Blvd.

On Wednesday, Oct. 9, three of The University of Tampa’s music faculty will perform together for the first time at a recital of music for violin, classical guitar and voice. The recital, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in Plant Hall’s Fletcher Lounge, features tenor Charles Dugan, guitarist John Demas and violinist Kira Omelchenko.
