The University of Tampa’s newest building — a facility to be shared by ROTC and UT Athletics — will be dedicated on Tuesday, April 16, at 4:30 p.m. with a special recognition ceremony to honor the building’s namesake, Gen. Peter J. Schoomaker.

Research is not just something done by University of Tampa faculty or graduate students. Participating in a research project as an undergraduate gives students a better understanding of their field and the opportunity to develop relationships with faculty.

The University of Tampa will stage Company, the Tony Award-winning concept musical by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth, April 18–20. Show times are 8 p.m. on Thursday–Saturday, April 18–20, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 21. All performances will be in Falk Theatre, located at 428 W. Kennedy Blvd.

The PEN Trio, which has been praised for bringing “a new energy and fresh approach to the reed trio,” will give a concert on Monday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the Grand Salon in Plant Hall on The University of Tampa campus. The trio will also give a master class from 2:30–3:30 p.m. in Room 96 of the Ferman Music Center. Both events are free and open to the public.

In the inaugural game April 5 at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Intramural Complex, and for the second time in two years, the UT men's lacrosse program won the Deep South Conference regular-season championship with a 10-6 win over Rollins.
