UT To Host Adam Smith Breakfast

The University of Tampa Sykes College of Business’ annual Adam Smith Breakfast will be held Thursday, April 21, from 7:15-9:30 a.m. in the Crescent Club on the ninth floor of the Vaughn Center.

Proceeds from the breakfast will support The Adam Smith Society, a faculty-mentored, Sykes College of Business honors society for students of economics and economic policy.

The presentation includes an update on the Tampa Bay economy by John Stinespring, professor of economics, and a global macroeconomic outlook by Vivekanand Jayakumar, associate professor of economics. Ample time for questions and answers will follow the presentations. Proceeds from the breakfast will support The Adam Smith Society, a faculty-mentored, Sykes College of Business honors society for students of economics and economic policy. Students demonstrating an outstanding interest and competence in the economic way of thinking are nominated by faculty for membership in the society.

The Adam Smith Breakfast is a must for local business community members operating in a global economy. The cost to attend is $5 for students, $75 for an individual seat for executives, $395 for a full table (seating six executives and two students) and $1,000 to be a Spartan Sponsor (includes recognition at the event and two tables seating 12 executives and four students).
